Sales Account Manager Rest of the World (ROW)
As the Sales Account Manager ROW you will be working in our headquarters in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate is a result-driven and energetic individual, taking initiative to further develop Linxtelecom sales activities. You must have a real hunter’s mentality, focusing on bringing in new customers. The successful candidate must have experience in the telecoms or related industries, preferably in selling connectivity, IP and datacenter services (e.g. Colo, IPL, Ethernet, Hosting).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales action plans for both named accounts as sales leads and prospects to meet sales targets;
- Generate Quality Leads for both Operator and Enterprise sales;
- Stimulate and initiate sales of Datacenter services well as IP products & services;
- Manage and develop existing accounts to further initiate new business;
- Close deals to reach agreed sales targets;
- Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses;
- Initiate activities to enter new markets;
- Keep track of all pricing, deals and sales activities via CRM tool;
- Represent Linxtelecom by participating in presentations, conferences and business meetings in order to drive sales;
- Stay ahead of local market situation and trends.
Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:
- HBO or academic background;
- 2-3 years of experience in international sales within telecom or related industries;
- A good understanding of the products and services of data networking and telecommunications;
- Good knowledge of Datacenter services, preferably proven by a work experience;
- Knowledge of and personal network in the international telecom market;
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements;
- Experience with using CRM tools;
- Strong knowledge and experience with MS Office (especially PP, Excel, Word);
- Fluency in English is a must;
- Outstanding sales and negotiations skills;
- Strong result-driven, pro-active and self-motivated with lots of initiative;
- Self starter who can quickly contribute with little or no direction;
- Good time management and ability to deal with tight deadlines;
- Willingness to travel.
Location: Amsterdam
Anticipated start date: 1 August 2010 or earlier
